Secret Santas Surprise Salvation Army Not Once, Not Twice, But Three Times!
Chattanooga, TN – Salvation Army employees are extremely excited after finding three large donations in the December 16 Red Kettles!
The first donation was 30 one hundred dollar bills at the Battlefield Parkway Walmart food door made earlier in the day, the second was 30 one hundred dollar bills at the Battlefield Parkway Walmart main door later in the evening, and the surprise final donation was 10 one hundred dollar bills at the Gunbarrel Road Walmart food door.
"The donations couldn't come at a better time, thank you Secret Santas for joining us in doing the most good this Christmas," says Major Al Newsome, Area Commander for The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga. "We are asking folks to give generously. Need is up and funding down. We hope that the Secret Santas' wonderful gifts will encourage others to donate to the Red Kettle Campaign."
Donations are still needed in order to meet the need this Holiday Season. To donate time or make a monetary donation, please visit csarmy.org. For more information, please contact Kimberly George at 423-503-1801 .
