Preparing for the Summer Temperatures, The Salvation Army Kicks-Off Its Beat the Heat Campaign!

Chattanooga, TN – Salvation Army is kicking-off its annual Beat the Heat Campaign on June 2 by taking applications for free fan assistance. Locations and times are as follows:

Low-income neighbors can apply for a free fan. The following information is needed to apply:

The Salvation Army needs donations of new fans or a monetary gift of $20 will purchase a new fan. Volunteers are also needed to help with the application process. To donate or volunteer, please visit www.csarmy.org . For more information, please call Kimberly George at 423-756-1023 .
