Local Salvation Armny Out of Fans to Help Neighbors "Beat the Heat!"
Chattanooga, TN –Fan distribution is typically on Fridays for The Salvation Army, but this week it will not be unless more are donated immediately. With temperatures rising again in the Tennessee Valley, individuals are turning to The Salvation Army for relief from the heat! "Over 300 families have already received box fans, and we have 32 who are now on a waiting list to receive fans," states Area Commander, Major Algerome Newsome. "We need the community to join the relief effort and donate new box fans."
