The Salvation Army Opens Shelter Today and Tomorrow due to cold temperatures!

Chattanooga, TN – With colder weather hitting the Tennessee Valley, The Salvation Army has been asked to open shelter to protect the homeless from life-threatening conditions. The Salvation Army's ReCreate Café, their day Center for the homeless, will be open Saturday evening and Sunday evenings, January 7-8, beginning at 7 PM as an overnight emergency cold-weather shelter. This shelter is located at 800 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403 .

The Salvation Army does not budget for cold-weather shelter. The Salvation Army relies on the support from the community.
