The Salvation Army's Honorary Christmas and News 12's Now's Chip Chapman to Officially Kick-off Christmas 2017 for The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga!

Chattanooga,Tenn.- “Silver bells, Silver bells, it is Christmas time in our city!”  The Salvation Army is excited to Kick-off The Chattanooga Salvation Army’s Christmas Campaign inside Hamilton Place Mall, Friday, November 10, 2017, at 12:00 PM on the Center Stage on the lower level.

News 12 Now’s, Chip Chapman, this year’s Honorary Christmas Chair, will join Angel Tree Partners, Hamilton Place Mall, News 12 Now, KZ106, WGOW AM/FM News Talk Radio, 1079 Nash Icon and J103 FM to make the first donations to the Red Kettles as they challenge the public to join them. Special musical guests, The Brassworks Band Ensemble will lead Christmas singing.

“It is my privilege to serve alongside of this honorable organization that provides help, hope and healing at Christmas time and throughout the year,” said Chip Chapman, “I have rung bells for many years, served at their Angel Tree Warehouse and know first-hand the good they are doing, how they are affectively making lasting change in the lives of our neighbors!  Join me in supporting The Salvation Army and help them reach their seasonal goal!”

The Salvation Army of Cleveland will kick off its Christmas Campaign on Thursday, November 16, at Bradley Square Mall.

The Tennessee Valley will begin to hear the bells and be able to adopt Angels from their Angel Trees Friday, November 10.  Angel Trees are located at Hamilton Place Mall, Northgate Mall, and Bradley Square Mall.  Thousands of volunteers are needed to ring the bells and adopt the angels.  To volunteer please visit:
