Flood Relief Continued for Three Days
The Salvation Army Chattanooga Area Command in partnership with News Channel 9, KZ106, Talk! 102.3, 107.9 The Duke, and the Chattanooga Market collected donations to benefit victims of the Nashville flood at the Chattanooga Market. Donation collection, which included personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and bottled water, continued for three days at The Salvation Army Family Stores. A tractor trailer donated by Covenant Transport delivered 4 days of locally collected items to The Nashville Salvation Army. Also, Tennessee's Miss Lexington 2010, Nicole Jordan of Memphis, donated athletic shoes to the Chattanooga Salvation Army as part of its flood relief collections for Nashville. Thank you to all who helped!
