Initially the Dreamers in Action Luncheon was created to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday by bringing together individuals from various segments of the community to talk, dream, and share a meal together in a sit-down, family style atmosphere hosted by The Salvation Army 614 Corps.
It was so well received, we're doing it again! This time we will focus the conversation to The Arts and ask questions like:
How can Chattanooga become a better Haven for Artists? How can Charities, like The Salvation Army, help grow the Creative Community, attract, and keep Artists? How can Artists contribute to the work of Charities?
The discussion will be facilitated by Steve Ray (M.F.A. University of Alabama), Assistant Professor of Theatre and Speech at UTC. Artists, Patrons of The Arts, Charity Workers, Volunteers, and Donors are especially encouraged to attend and dialogue about how we can make our city an even more Arts Friendly place.
Come share your Dreams with us!
