The ReCreate Café is a safe haven for the homeless during the day when shelters are closed. It provides a safe, welcoming place out of the weather and away from social predators.

The 614 Corps officer and volunteers assist the homeless without discrimination or cost meeting physical, social and spiritual needs by providing:

The Café is a place where homeless men and women find a friendly place and a hot cup of coffee. It is a place of rest and refuge for people who may be tired and weary. It is also a place of fun and fellowship.

"Karaoke is every Wednesday from from 1 pm - 3 pm. At this service, we celebrate our time together and enjoy each other's talents. This program allows people to be accepted for who they are; they receive much needed positive affirmation. Members of our community can find a place in the spotlight that they can enjoy in an uplifting way and receive a round of applause. We can see God is working in people as they feel accepted. A wide and varied selection of songs can guarantee that all will find something they can sing." — Captain Jon-Phil Winter

Vacation Bible School

Each summer the 614 Corps offers a chance for adults to experience a VBS designed just for them. Along with games and crafts, there is Bible teaching and worship. This is a fun and relaxed way to learn and understand God's Word and to hear His plan for their lives.

Worship Service

Every Sunday at 10 am, we enjoy a worship service together. It is an opportunity for people to hear about the life of holiness that they can live in Christ. Worship in song, giving, prayer and the Word is open to all, and it is followed by lunch.
